I’m running WinXP 64, and while it has its limits, they are fewer than Vista’s 64-bit limits. I can use Win2k3 Server drivers fairly regularly, so I haven’t run into a driver issue yet. Also, finding a firewall/anti-v combo is equally hard for WinXP 64 as it is for Vista 64 thus far, so I think your upgrade rationale had some weakness in it.</blockquote>

I disagree, I have at least 3 devices with no xp64 or 2003 64 drivers, and I have more than a dozen devices on the home network so firewalling/nat/dhcp etc is handled by a standalone OpenSolaris box running ipf which is a much more flexible solution. As for the antivirus, I have yet to find a real time av system that isn't more trouble than its worth. On the off chance that I notice something odd, I would rather just reboot and run a scan from a cd/dvd/usb stick.
